AGC’s AMOLEA™ 1224yd is a next-generation, low-GWP replacement for HFC and HCFC urethane foam blowing agents. It has the physical properties and performance attributes of HFC-245fa, but with an Ozone Depleting Potential (ODP) of almost zero and a GWP value under 1.

AMOLEA 1224yd is suitable for foam applications requiring superior environmental, flammability, and foam properties. Foam applications include polyurethane, polyisocyanurate and various polymer foams.
